Pray for your kids — justice

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you

but to do justice, and to love kindness,

and to walk humbly with your God?

(Micah 6:8 ESV)

Praying justice for my kids is complicated! There are so many angles to it.

I pray my children will grow to understand what justice is, and to be just themselves. That they will be fair and just in their relationships with others.

Another burden is asking for them to receive justice in this world.  Not only for my kids, also for the many, many children who are denied justice.

Beyond this world I pray that God will be glorified in His justice. In the next breath I am pleading God’s grace and mercy for my kids!
