Today has been a scorcher in Dunedin, 29° in town and 33° at the airport when we went out to pick up Iona at 5:30pm. It was sunny all day with a bit of an easterly wind (11 km/h) and 67% humidity.

Today was sunny but windy in Dunedin with 27km/hr northeasterlies. 70% humidity. The high was 25°C, low was 17°C.

We had the Fire Service turn up around 3pm because a neighbour decided to burn rubbish in their backyard despite it being hot, dry and windy with a complete fire ban. I think most of us were relieved to see them turn up because their ‘little fire’ did not appear very well controlled.

In Dunedin today it was warm with gusty northeasterlies but turned drizzly around 4pm. The high was 18°C, the low was 13°C.
