2010 Reading

A pile of books with an apple on top

Some of the books I read in 2010, I’m sure there must have been more than this but I can’t find the rest of the list!

  1. Cry, The Beloved Country by Alan Paton. January 2010. ISBN 0-09-976681-7. This would have to be one of the most beautiful novels I have ever read. It is not only beautifully written, but it is also beautiful in its depth and empathy and kindness to the old parson Kumalo who is the key character. I would read it again tomorrow but do not have the emotional strength to do it justice — this is a novel that should affect you emotionally.
  2. In Christ Alone by Sinclair Ferguson. April 2010. ISBN 1-56769-089-0
Up next Iona Birthday 2010 Iona certainly has come a long way from the wee bub that I held at 4:05am nine years ago. It has been a tough journey for all at times, but she is a Turn… and pray
